STATEMENT BLOUSES

19/19

I saw this shirt on Amina and I fell in love. I knew I had to get it – even though I (thought I) disliked pink and actually don’t own any pink items. I thought about big city strolls in NYC or going for a morning Coffee in Saint Tropez and I could see myself in this pink shirt, short shorts, and a pair of cute sandals. I think this is a piece to keep and even though I found it expensive I think it’s an item worth investing in. I don’t have a lot of statement pieces because I rather invest in classic pieces but to be honest, I am in the mood for some color. First of all, this pink Valentino silk blouse is perfect for those summer nights, so I’m so glad I made this investment. Here are some other options that I hope you will enjoy, and of course the Valentino one as well (it also comes in lilac!). They are definitely statement pieces, but this can never hurt your wardrobe, only maybe your wallet ;)))

Statement colors

The blouses are from left to right: Valentino, Valentino, Balenciaga, and The Row. It’s your turn to choose: which one will it be?

Statement patterns

The blouses are from left to right: Loewe, Acne Studios, Zimmermann, and Altuzarra. You can never go wrong with a patterned statement piece.

Statement basics

Finally, here are my statement blouses that seem basic at first but upon closer look have a twist of their owns, making them statement pieces. From left to right: Jacquemus, Jacquemus, Comme Des Garçons, and Isabel Marant.
